I think looks can be deceiving. Machida and Shogun didn't look all that rip but I doubt most humans could take the kicks to the body that they took that night.:!: Their torsos were red from the constant attacks.
go to your local mma gym and you will find out how skilled these guys really are,its no joke ive been traning for 2 years and it take dedication like no other
On some MMA forums that I have been on, they claim that Machida Shogun was boring. I though it was a tactical master piece. What do you think?
Exactly I had great respect before joining in MMA gym but it shot through the roof once I started doing MMA.
lol. I know quite a bit about the dude. Please I'm a big MMA fan...calm down....P.S. I think of most MMA fighters as second rate bums...what ya gonna do about it?
I agree I loved the fight. Not a brawl, but the fight was great to watch is you understand the sport...or it just might be me.
oh man that fight was great, two fighters on the top of there game...both had great gameplans,it dont get any better than that,i know alot of people are upset with the decision but im just glad i will get to see a rematch that will hopefully be even better than the 1st one.
i knew it would take alot but i must say i was suprised,i played football and wrestled in high school and i was still not in shape like some of the guy in that gym:-(
Dude I'm not challenging anyone. Simply being facetious cause the guy seemed to get so upset about me calling some fat guys mauling eachother bums.
Yeah I feel you I played football, basketball and baseball in HS and boxed amateurly for awhile but had no idea the kind of disipline it took to do well in wrestling, muay thai and bjj and the kinda of conditioning it took just to keep up in those areas.
