You guys who say Bute fought "no-one". Pls Give example of "Some-one"

He's has fought the best of what was left over after the tournament started. the tournament is finished now so Kessler, Ward, Froch and Dirrell are all free to fight him at some point.

If he fights and beats some of these guys he will prove he is on the elite level for SMW's. If not then people will continue to question how good he is.

it's that simple really.

 

Kessler, Froch, Ward, Abraham are someone. In fact even the weak link, Abraham is better than everyone on Bute's record. Only Johnson you have a case with.

 

he fought whoever he could after being excluded for the tournament then Kessler said no then he fought Johnson

he's fighting whoever he can get in the ring with him is that something to knock

the guy wants Ward and if not he will try to get Froch

he will get his fight eventually and prove the doubters wrong, he has the tools and the ability just nobody willing to do the fight

At SMW he did nothing , nada , Johnson,Andrade, Bika and even Magee are better win then AA.

So we are still stuck at the same point:

Kessler didn't make a couter offer to Bute offer and he's fighting Stieglitz in April

Ward want an easy fight (no problems with that) and say Bute don't diserve it since Bute didn't fought top opposition ( the 3 guys we are talking about here)

Froch : both teams are in talk

I think Bute and Ibox are making the best to make those fight happens , they are ready to travel so bute can have big fights,

Bute would never face them if they don't want to , at least if the Bute offer isn't good make a counter offer. Froch camp have said it was easy to make buisness with Ibox . so let's get it on!

Bute has had more hype behind him before he even entered the tornament and all of these guys were around. Why didn't he face them then? He fought Bika on ESPN like 4 years ago. All of these guys were around.

And you say what you say about Abraham, had Abraham not entered the tornament, he'd be in Bute's spot RIGHT NOW. Remember he was favored by many to win the tournament. You should be thankful Bute wasn't in the tornament because he would've been beaten and exposed.

Around that date, here's what "all of these guys who were around" (as you said) were doing :

Kessler : Was training for his unification with Calzaghe.
Ward : Just beat Dhafir Smith and got his first north american title only 1 year and a half later.
Froch : Actually, he was the one supposed to fight Bute for the IBF eliminator, but he refused and went another way.
Abraham : Do I even need to argue about this guy?? lol

 

These guys were around? Really? Seriously, look at Ward's, Dirrell's, Taylor's, Abraham's (and let's also throw in Green) SMW records before the tournament. Compared to their records, Bute WAS Wladimir Klitschko!!! :deal

 

Before the tournament, he was pretty much number 1 by default. He moved ahead of Froch by getting a belt and many put him at least ex aequo to Kessler who, despite better resume and accomplishments, had been MIA for 2 years.

 

You need to get Failey on your side. He could use boxrec to show that Bute's resume is the second greatest of all time.

 

Bute has some very good victories namely berrio, andrade, bika and johnson.

The issue is a tale of two sides really.

On one hand he was never invited into the super 6 and has done the best he can fighting the scraps of the top ten which remained.

On the other hand, ward has a point that bute should not be expectant of a title shot against him after sitting on the sidelines for 2 years.

Mikel and froch are both more worthy opposition but after that it has to be bute.

I'd like to bute against froch and dirrell or abraham. 2 wins there puts him right behind the winner of ward - kessler provided it happens.

This is just a **** situation for bute which is unfortunate, but I totally see where ward's coming from.
