Hopkins got blown out by Jones with 1 hand easily. He got shutout by Kovalev. What's the pattern here? He got his ass handed to him by great fighters when he didn't possess a massive size advantage.

This is a guy who started his career at 175. Boiled down about as much as you can to an unnatural 160 pounds. Beat some guys like John David Jackson and Joppy. Then KO'ed two tiny Welterweights.

Proceeded to continually lose over and over again as he got old. But people said he better than ever. Ironic as that is. Hopkins was 10 times the fighter from 93-01 than he was later in his career. But I digress.

If GGG knocked out Trinidad and DLH (Two Welterweights) all hell would break loose here.

    weren't both title holders?

That's pretty much what Golovkin is trying to do right? Beat all the title holders?

I doubt GGG would KO either of those fighters, they are not exactly Monroe and Wade lol

Jermaine Taylor, who went on to do nothing also beat B-Hop. There was no one really athletic and fast for Hopkins at 160, whenever he faces someone like that he gets beaten.

I could give him a pass for losing competitive decisions. But anytime he fights somebody elite his own size he gets beaten terribly.

This has nothing to do with GGG fighting nothing but bums. If you're going to crown him let him earn in it the ring.

Exactly, they're not middleweights either. GGG gets them out of there.

Based on what? Tito and DLH are leagues above anyone GGG has faced, welterweights or not. So is Joppy.

If GGG went and KO'd Andre Ward then I would sit here and think, damn he has definitely proven that he can KO that calibre of fighter. But he hasn't.

Hopkins two losses to Taylor are pretty bad. Also the acting and quitting in the first Dawson fight was pathetic.

 Delahoya was given a gift decision against Felix Sturm, he proved he isn't worthy at the higher weights. Oh and GGG would accidentally knock out Tito and DLH, that is how easy the process would be.

GGG would be crucified if he fought the cans bhop fought. You guys say the MW division is weak now, then how strong was it back when joppy was the champ?
