First off prime in a fighter, especially at this weight, means a great deal. I'm not getting in with either Benn or Jackson at their peak, but if I had to choose it would be Benn as although I love him to bits, you can get at him.

Hagler is an ATG and probably one of the most underestimated of those ATG's. Man was still a class act when he faced Leonard and over time I've come to believe I called that fight wrong at the time through rose tinted glasses and that he beat SRL that night. Past prime would beat all of the other guys on this list I believe. So he's ruled out.

From the past prime greats I've gone for current GGG. I think he's been on the slide for a good while now. The SD fight will have taken a further toll on those aging limbs. They may be able to prop him up long enough to sacrifice him to Canelo but really I think his days as a force in the division ended some time ago. A bad investment by DAZN.

If my talent level was Munguia, I'd pick Hagler. I think Hagler is the best and would beat everyone on the list, but were I a Munguia level guy, I know I'm not gonna be able to get out of the way of Jackson's or Benn's punches (I'm slow), and Golovkin is gonna outbox me. Hagler is too good and would beat me up as well, but he's not gonna spark me with one shot and he's the smallest guy, I could at least try to make it a dirty fight and maul him (ala Jeff Horn vs Pac).

Some good answers, prime aggressive punchers like Jackson and benn could be a young challengers kryptonite.

Older ggg etc have slipped and ate there for the taking to who ever wants to

It depends how the styles would match up.

Also, why aren’t they all prime?

because if I put them all prime then it wouldn’t be even. Just an interesting twist I thought

Don't matter really... I'd get knocked the **** out regardless

I'd probably want Julian Jackson out of the 4.....of I'm gonna get ****ed up at least I'd be too out of it to notice

Missed off the bottom in eagerness to reply

I'd go for Benn... In that case throws quite wide ragged shots when he starts to tire and hopefully beat him in a war of attrition

I'd sooner swim with sharks than fight a prime Benn, he was a fooking animal at middleweight. Julian Jackson would at least make it relatively painless given he could switch the lights out with one punch.

GGG now and Hagler would put a sustained beating on you but, I doubt it would be quite as brutal as the beat down a prime Been would inflict. Having said that, if Hagler put in the sort of performance he did against Sibson, that would be a tortuous piecing up aswell.

I would pick current GGG purely because he's definately slid way off prime.
