He is coming to America. Give him credit for that. That in itself takes courage, to take your undefeated record and take it to someone else's back yard.

But my money is on BHOP!

I give him credit but he said that he was finally convinced when he experienced the atmosphere at the MGM Grand for Mayweather-Hatton... And probably when Hops tried to intimidate him at the MGM's media center with facelifts and other bs before the weigh-in. I believe he was not rattled by Hop's mind games since there are pictures with both guys laughing at each other... Hatton is the man because he had to stand all that **** for an entire tour.

He had nowhere else to go really.

I suppose Woods at home but after Kessler the only real step up was the best of the US at Light-Heavy

Should of happened years ago. Sheika, Mitchell, Brewer could of happened in the states and by fighting and beating those fighters there, he would of earned more respect and of made a name for himself quicker. In saying that, he is still travelling to fight and ATG, p4p ranked, light heavy champ, so he does deserve respect.

If he fought Sheika and Brewer in the states, it would have been stuck on some undercard with half the pay check, Joe was topping the bill making good money, he may aswel beat the same geeza and get the bigger cheque.

Looking back though, the Jeff Lacy win would have looked even better had it happned in Vegas or even Tampa...:hey

Id like to see Joe fight in the US again before retirement. The Clinton woods fight is out of the window, but if he secures a fight with Pavlik, or Dawson - Tarver winner, he should secure it in the States aswel!

Joe said he would only travel for the big names and he has. im really looking forward to this one the closer the fight comes. Calzaghe UD!

True, but wasn't the McIntyre fight on the undercard of a Tyson fight in Denmark? Granted, he;s not gonna be on a Tyson undercard the whole time, but Lewis, Naz etc were doing the business over there and surely he could of got in on one of those. He should of invested the time and effort, imo. Hell he could of fought on a Jones or Hopkins card to increase the interest in a fight with either.

Anyways whats done is done. Calzaghe SD:bbb
