Any rematch would be likely to take place at Welterweight although Hatton is a natural Light-Welterweight.
The Mancunian has struggled in his previous two fights at the heavier weight, labouring to victory over Luis Collazo and losing to Mayweather.
"You wouldn't get Floyd to come down any less than 147," added Ray Hatton. "I think Floyd would say I'm the Champion at 147 and if you want me again, you're going to have to come up to me. I'm not going to come down to you."

hatton is only lying to himself in denial ,the fact is floyd took him to school ,it was a boxing clinic,floyd even having his way on the inside and outside.

How about this percentage and that percentage?'.

Hatton's lawyer, Gareth Williams made a lowball offer of a £100,000 purse, which Hennessy predictably turned down. "All right," said Ray Hatton, "it was an insult and I hold my hands up, but it was more money than he'd had for any of his fights before. If you're making statements like, 'I'll fight somebody for nothing' and then you offer somebody, even though it is an insult, bigger money than he's ever fought for before and they turn it down blank and want 30 percent of everything, let's have it right.""

Its a lot more then the training expenses that Witter bullshitted about fighting for just to get his name in the papers on Hattons back (AGAIN!!).

Hatton makes the papers/ TV on his own merits. Not piggybacking on the same individual for most of his pro career.

Is he not piggybacking on PBF ? He did sweet FA to warrant a shot at PBF the first time and by beating Lacanzo and maligfaggot he is doing sweet FA but money talks and he will probably get another shot.

Ray Hatton can talk as much **** as he wants, everyone knows Hatton is avoiding the likes of Cotto.

I think Hatton was doing OK for publicity before Mayweather, he was selling out large venues without him as well. Witter on the other hand was/ is doing niether of those two things.

If anyone is ducking Cotto then its Mayweather, at least he's in the same division.

What and Hatton did not duck him @ 140 ?

Hatton is more than willing to go up to 147 to face PBF again so why no mention of Cotto from Ray Hatton. I am sure the likes of Cotto and Judah could be enticed down to 140 if Hatton really wanted to fight them.
