Why don't you read some archives on what was lesser. Mayweather fights the next clown you guys set up for huge prizes. Not his fault you keep picking clowns. JMM was the ONLY fight he took wasn't the obvious next step. That was a tune up against a guy who schooled Pac. Clowns like you set up these guys. Same way you set up Pac's silly ass. Pac got smart and ducked though. Just like Pac ducked Mosley. He stuck to his Top Rank friends so he can use his PEDs in peace. We all know Arum's sorry ass will let cash cows cheat to win. Even if they are stable mates.
the thing is floyd been acting like a ***** on interviews when the subject is about fighting shane...he has excuses left or right like jmm has whole country behind him or shanes never been on the A side of a fight etc.... if berto did fight shane...who will pbf CONSIDER fighting then?
I donot really see any other option for Floyd right now. If he does not fight Mosley, he is simply a *****, plain and simple. Maybe the 2nd best option for him is Cory Spinks for the IBF JMW but even that, he will be heavily criticized.
I have to disagree with some of these JLC 1 was very close, but Floyd def got credit for taking and winning the rematch. Alot of haters say this is the last time Floyd actually stepped up Diego, Absolutely dominated Diego and got a ton of credit for doing so Zab, by the time Floyd fought him it was well known he was very mentally weak/coming off a loss to the very average Baldomir Oscar, only took the fight for a payday, fighting once a year if that. Floyd barely won this fight. rematch should of happened but probably would have been the same result Hatton, well what can you say here. I don't think anyone thought Hatton had a chance. Why give him credit? Let's hear the rest
Shyyyd. It was tons of threads about Hatton being the one to stop him. ALOT of people did thing hatton had the best chance. the very next day they were either no where to be heard from or were denying there asses off.
Though I don't agree with Floyd being a coward or a ducker at all. I do believe he needs to take this fight to shut his critcs up once and for all, but that would also take mother****ing natural disater for that to happen. I do believe it will be a good fight with Floyd being the victor.
I wasn't an active poster on this board when that fight happened, so I'll take your word for it. Floyd was most definitely the favorite to win though. I personally thought Hatton had no chance at winning, although I didn't think Floyd would stop him
No one on this site brings up the second Castillo fight, only the first. If you have been reading the post on this site lately, you would've seen people saying Diego was overrated and wasn't really that good in the first place. So Mayweather gets no credit for De La Hoya, even though a lot of people were saying he would knock Floyd out? Does Pacquiao deserve credit for beating the weight drained and even older version of Oscar? Several people were giving Hatton a chance actually. Does Pacquiao get credit for Hatton?
Yup...maybe Floyd will finally get the idea. Great fights make great fighters. Baldomir, although the ring champ at the time of the fight, isn't going to make any fighter an ATG. It's now or never to prove all of the naysayers wrong...if he doesn't make this fight happen, he's finished in the sport.
I don't even see Mayweather getting big praise for thinking about fighting Mosley. How many threads have been created applauding and praising Mayweather for fighting Mosley. I do see posters throwing it in other posters faces that said that he would never fight a threat like Mosley, but other then that I don't see great praise. Just a lot of excitment since it looked like after the Mayweather-Pac fight fell through there weren't many good options left so its a big suprise that Berto-Mosley is off and Mosley-PBF is close to being on just like that. I was looking forward to that Berto-Mosley fight though since it was going down only next week. I see right through the spin cycle.
The 2nd JLC fight was brought up in this very thread and I gave him credit and I've heard nobody arguing that? Nobody was saying Diego was overated at the time he fought Floyd, after the fact maybe. Doesn't change the qaulity of the win IMO. He was a very dangerous oponent at the time I stand by what I said about Oscar and Hatton. Several experts or posters gave them a chance? Big difference there. We aren't talking about Pacquiao but I give him slightly more credit for the way he dominated both fighters
