You know they were gonna rob Cotto anyway right?

I'm not a fan of reactionary post-fight threads but this is quite obvious.

10-2, 9-3, 9-3 just smacks of Pacquiao vs Bradley nonsense  - if Cotto had done even better, just imagine?

Revenge for Miguel hosting and promoting his own fight. Remember, the promoters with more strings to pull always get what they want.

its a reverse excuse, So they can continue to keep Canelo out of tough fights, its disgusting.

But Canelo has an ass whopping 7 years in the making, thats for sure.

Canelo was hoping Cotto wins to finally land a big money fight. Even though Canelo has done nothing in the sport he's looking to cash in some money. He needs to fight Trout , Lara, Bundrage and other solid opponents in his division then aim for big money fights. He's not even a star yet with no legacy whatsoever and he's looking for profitable fights.

Worse than Pac-Bradley? Let's see. In Pac-Bradley, Pac landed more, threw more, and landed the bigger shots. In Cotto-Trout, Trout threw more, landed more, and I'd say landed around the same significant punches. Those were not pitty pat punches, obviously hard enough to hurt Cotto as times, make him back up, etc.
I think Trout edged it by a couple rounds, and do disagree with 10-2, and 9-3 (though not by much), but c'mon man. The cards may have been bad, but clearly they didn't rob Cotto blind of something he should of won.

Cotto lost 9 rounds, every round from the 7th round on. No robbery at all, Cotto at most won 4 rounds. Don't get accostumed to assume you'll win because you're at home.

The Gardens was not sold out last nite,so GBP did a poor job in promoting this to the PR fanbase.O think the attendance was around 13,000,give or take a few hundred.
Nobody does NYC like Top Rank and HBO.
