It's a ****ing shame. it really is.
mma fans can only look at sherdog's system. and worst of all , 90% of them actually think that they're **** is "the" reference for all mma sources.

Believe it or not , even Fedor's record is not "complete".
They're not listing all his fights and I'm not talking about "amateur" fights here. I'm talking about "legit" fights , under mma rules.

Same goes for lots of fighters...

Fightfinder is very good. Boxrec has just as many flaws, and they can only list what is reported to them.

Name these fights you can't find. You always bring this up, but I have yet to see any legitimate, sanctioned MMA matches that are not on there, and if they aren't they quickly make the necessary corrections. Fedor claims the same record for himself that the Fightfinder shows.

boxrec is not 100% perfect but man , compared to sherdog's fightfinder...IT IS.
sherdog's system is ****ing far from being complete.

    hell , even http://www.k-1sport.de/en/
does a better job for K1...but sherdog , (which is a predominantly a MMA site) can't ****ing sort their **** out.

I don't give a **** if they won't list amateur fighters or judo , sambo , bjj , adcc fighters...it's not even the issue..the problem is that they're also ignoring some legit MMA fights...

BTW, boxrec is missing a lot of legit boxing fights too. You are acting like it is easy to find, and list every single sanctioned fight in the world.

The reason why I keep bringing this **** up is because I've seen mma fights on the net in which Fedor was participating , unfortunately I can't find them cause I do not have the name of his other opponents there's like 133 vids for fedor on youtube and i don't think anyone bothered to upload these vids before...

I think i have one of em burned on a DVD. If I find it ,I'll upload it so that you people can see what I'm talking about.

For example , I remember seeing a fight in which Fedor defeated a sambo/wrestler type opponent but it was under MMA rules , with a ref...and it wasn't "amateur" or some sort of underground type of ****..it was legit...

Well obviously we can't list all the ****ing fights in mma history , but **** , i'm not asking for much...all im saying , is to have a site which is at least as professional as boxrec , or specialised like, boxrec.

    cause sherdog's fightfinder certainly isn't.

You're not making a very good case here. **** you have seen on Youtube but can't find is not a substitute for a legitimate, organized, somewhat sanctioned event that publishes official results. Boxrec has the advantage of a worldwide standardized set of rules upheld by world sanctioning bodies, anthing on there can be obtained in written record by contacting the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO etc etc. MMA is a patchwork quilt of various rules, events, and locations that often occur under very shady circumstances. Sherdog has standards for an event held to qualify it for a professional MMA event, and Fedor beating some Lithuanian guy, whose name is unknown, up in the back of a bar in a location/date unknown, for $500 doesn't make the cut.

I know that but sherdog also listed fedor's "rings" fights did they not?

and we all know that "rings" is a ****ing hybrid , not 100% mma. (compared to pride , ufc , cage rage or vale tudo in general)..it's ****ing limited.

the point is...if they're listing "rings" fights...and if they're even listing "pancrase" fights...then they should also be adding these fights I'm talking about...

This isn't making sense to me. Just because you don't know who you are seeing in a video, you are blamming the accuracy and professionalism of fight finder? I am sure that there are boxing Hightlight videos out there in which you don't know everyone that you see. Do you blame boxrec for that? Hell, at least fightfinder has pictures with most of their known fighters, boxrec doesn't even have that to go by.
