You know what's the saddest part about Floyd Mayweather's career?

No I didn't resort to insults, I replied back to your post with obvious facts you could easily search for and get reliable sources that confirm it but obviously you criticize without even bothering to look at facts. Just clearly following what others are saying without bothering to read/search about it. Also when you call actually facts excuses then there's an obvious issue, not to forget that you didn't really bother to respond to my "Younger DLH" question when you brought that up.

There were opportunities at catchweights, being that Mayweather loves to avoid relevant guys in his own division its not that unreasonable - but probably a bit hastey on my part admittedly.

The other guys were perfectly achieveable though. You can make all these excuses but they do wear terribly thin, when there is one consistent factor each time beginning 'May' ending 'weather'.

Those aren't excuses, those are actual facts behind these fights you thought he had to take. It's more than just "He didn't fight this and that" in boxing. Let me give you a better question to prove that what you're saying is nonsense when you call those excuses.

Why didn't Margarito fight Mosley, DLH, Mayorga, Spinks, Judah, Forrest and the other undisputed champions and top fighters in the division during a time he was active in the division?

Well firstly he lost a couple of times and had to rebuild, two he isn't supposed to be the figurehead of the sport or a top 35 ATG which quite rightly brings high standards, and three he hasn't been division hopping and leaving guys behind so there is potential for a number of those fights to happen.

Who cares how much money he was making for the fights? It's not like he was giving us any of the money he makes from the fights in the first place. People wanted to see Floyd face the best at 147 and he failed to do that.

Thats why he doesnt have the desire to fight anymore. He feels everyone is too easy. He feels no one can make him fight his A game.

Not really, I don't get your point at all.

Margarito isn't retired, we aren't taking a look back at his career and summing up our feelings. If we are holding him up to be a top 35 ATG and p4p #1 I'll be scrutinising him if he he's a division hopping fad that often avoids the best guy in a division too.

When you win fights and get "Yeah, he's supposed to win anyway, 0 credit" after them it's really hard to motivate yourself anyway and in this sport when you're not motivated 100% you're better off out of it or dead in the ring.

Again I repeat my question, want to explain why guys like Mayorga/Spinks/DLH/Mosley/Judah/Baldomir/Forrest and others jumped to Margarito's division and headlined major fights without him being able to get at least ONE of those names mentioned?

Exactly. Plus he knew that he wasnt fighting his hardest against all these guys that were supposed to be "his match". He found it way too easy to beat his p4p peers. The only way he fights his A game & really gets challenged is if he fights someone like Pavlik. He'd have to go up weight classes just to find competition.

Same case with RJJ, he was beating guys not even his natural size and they were saying it's unfair till he beat Ruiz and even THAT wasn't fair. It's when you lose that idiots jump out of the trash cans and yell "I told you so", and if you don't lose then you're fighting bums. Pathetic and typical if you ask me.

Because he lost and was a bit of a nobody until recently? :patsch

Mayweather has been there or there abouts for years and years, and is supposed to be a top 35 ATG according to people like yourself. I see where you are trying to go with this, but you really need to choose somebody that is a more suitable basis for comparison than Margarito.

I don't expect Mayweather to fight everybody at once, obviously. However, I didn't expect him to hop over a division quite as merrily as he did, without ever cleaning them out and at worst avoiding the best guy in it.

Yep. I just watched Roy vs Ruiz last nite. The only way Mayweather loses is if he fights someone well above his weight. & eMayweather is the only welter who fights at the welter weight. All these other welters fight at 160+. Its a shame he doesnt get all the credit he deserves.

Again the WWE mentality shines. You make it sound like the man is immune when it comes to age, do you know long can it take to make 2 major fights in boxing?, that could take 1 year of your career right away and to make the most out of your career you go for the best and quickest options available. He dominated 130-135, then 140 fought Gatti, grabbed a title and tried to fight the undisputed champion in Hatton but simply couldn't get the fight signed because Hatton's team openly admitted they needed more fights to be ready, same thing happened when he considered Cotto at a time when he was with Arum as well. Then he moves up to 147 and immediately looks to fight WBC/WBA/IBF undisputed champion Judah(No, it wasn't Margarito either, you failed to answer why when I asked you TWICE), then Judah loses to Baldomir and Baldomir is officially #1 at 147, so who is the man to face to be considered #1 and the best in the division?, yes, you guessed it, Baldomir and that's exactly what he did. What you think of Baldomir as a fighter means nothing in this discussion when you want to talk about "cleaning divisions", the man was jumping from one weight to another looking to fight the best in each and by "the best" I mean fighters who are officially ranked #1 in the division, not ranked #1 by fanboys who know nothing.

About you failing to answer the Margarito question twice then coming up with

That's nothing but an excuse because you lack the facts. When I gave you facts you replied to me with "Hey it's only excuses!". What I'm doing here is clear, just exposing what an excuse really is and what facts really are by using YOU as an example as you help me expose yourself.
