Please! The fight didn't happen because Oscar wanted the lions share of the purse. Fear of losing to a man you just beat wasn't part of the equation.:deal

It's a theory, but one that's probably correct. I mean, why choose the time he did to retire? It's a simple question.

He won a SD against a fighter clearly below par. His undefeated streak means the world to him and he saw it disappearing if he fought DLH again.

And you're a delusional Oscarsexual.:-( Oscar is a year older and would fade even sooner. He can't beat PBF. He can't handle his speed, movement and counter punching for 12 rounds.

Ah, so you choose to insult me because you don't have an answer. Typical PBF zealot - how pathetic.

I'll tell you what.....I don't have that many posts - if you can find ONE post of mine unduly praising DLH in any way or form, I'm an Oscarsexual.

    Deal?

And he almost handled it well enough in the first fight, why is it out of the question for him to make the necessary adjustments. It's not as if PBF was improving at all, is it?

Floyd retired because he knew Oscar would beat him?

After he just easily handled him..

    Right.

Floyd did his best to get Mosley in the ring but couldn't, the Margarito offer was available but didn't happen simply because Margarito refused to pull out of the fight with Gomez and Cotto's handlers(who were Floyd's as well) felt it was still too early for Cotto. Williams only truly shined when he beat Margarito so there are no offers from Williams anyway, if anything Williams should be mentioned for Margarito, not Floyd.
