You know what's the saddest part about Floyd Mayweather's career?

To that I'd add, I honestly dunno if he'd beat Sugar Shane at 147, that'd be a helluva contest IMO.

So why did he have the motivation for DLH but not for the tougher challenges that were there to be taken directly afterwards? If he really was as money motivated as people say, then I can't even respect him as a man. A fighter, sure. But not as a man. Take the ****ing hard road, prove you're as good as you say you are.

DLH has been on the slide for years now. His last noteworthy performance was against Fernando Vargas in a hotly contested fight before the knockout. 6 years ago. He has been reduced to a 6 round fighter who cannot pull the trigger like he used to and who has a fraction of the desire he used to.

I can live with that. Margarito's career is not over and probably won't be for a while. I do believe that when it's all said and done his welter career will surprise some to look back on their previous considerations. All Margarito has to do is get Williams back in the ring, avenge that loss and he'll have beaten just about every top drawer welterweight out there today. Throw in Berto in a year and call it a day.

I do believe it is entirely possible to someday say that Margarito was a great welterweight and Mayweather was a great lightweight.

Tszyu? He was already shot/inactive in 2004/2005. And getting beaten by Hatton. People would've said: "He beat an old man".

You hinting that he didn't take the hard road clearly proves you know nothing about him. Have you followed Mayweather's career since he started as an amateur all the way to now or did you start following when Margarito clips "calling out Mayweather" were all over YouTube?

The man took the hard road as everyone else, spent his LIFE dedicated to boxing and looking to make some money is disrespectful to "fans"?, if anything it's those clearly broke and jealous fans that are disrespectful because if they were in that position they would do the same if not worse.

The fight with DLH was a risky fight, it wasn't just money. The SD result is enough proof and you denying it is beyond pitiful. He did make a good amount of money for sure but did you even look at the situations involving this fight?, the boxing gloves, smaller ring, lesser money, moving up to 154 and many other options enforced by DLH?

Him refusing a rematch where he was GUARANTEED more money than the first fight should be enough proof to show you that the man has no intentions to continue and lacks the motivation anyway. You claim he's on there for the money, why didn't he accept it?, oh yeah, because he's scared?

It's bad for Mayweather and disrespectful to call out DLH in a fight already proven to be really tough and close but Margarito calling out DLH instead of Williams is left ignored and "accepted" by you?

They are amongst those of us who have been long time boxing fans. It's the teeny, juniors in the sport who see a loss as the worst thing that can happen to a fighter. If you have a loss then you have been beaten and you'll be beaten again, according to them.

Don't put words in my mouth. I don't want the DLH fight I want the Williams fight.

DLH is runnin scared of Margarito anyways. If that fight would have happened it would have happened by now. DLH knows he can't win. So he won't bother. He fancies his chances against a lightweight however (which is why he fought Mayweather in the first place).

DLH made a career of beating up on lightweights. True story.

I know all that and I'm not putting words in your mouth. It's just funny that when Mayweather asks for that he's insulted and only cares about money. But when Margarito does it, no one pays much attention to it and stick with the "MONEY AIN'T EVERYTHING!, PRIDE IS!" tag. :rofl

Margarito has fought Williams, Clottey, Santos, Cintron, Cotto and a whole host of other welters and even jr.middles.

He did his part to prove himself at 147 and even 154. So why would he get insulted?

My point. His early rep was built off of beating on lightweights. Tell me I am wrong.

Considering he is a lightweight, why is that a negative?

Losing to bigger/stronger guys in upper weight classes is nothing to be hard on Oscar about.

Fact is, you're a known Floyd hater. I totally destroyed you in a thread regarding Floyd ducking Margarito, and here you are again regurgitating the same nonsense with no evidence to back up your ridiculous statements. You're a conjecture freak, and not a very good one at that.
