You know who PBF reminded me of in the Hatton Fight??

    Mayweather and Toney have similarities, of course starting with the shoulder roll defense. The slickness, counterpunching, short right uppercuts on the inside.

    I've always seen Mayweather as a quicker, more mobile version of Toney with a lesser workrate.

    Floyd uses some of the same defensive ideas that Toney does, but I just can't see anything else similar in their fighting. When Toney fights on the outside his offense seems to consist of sort of a jab that he shoots from his hip, and a 1-2 he throws pretty well. Floyd has a great lead right hand and lead left hook.

    Defensively Floyd used some of the same things that Toney does, but if it were Toney fighting Hatton, he would have been countering Hatton a lot more than Floyd was. Personally I think Toney is one of the greatest in fighters EVER.
