The lower weights has been neglected since land before time. Even elite ones.

Jandaeng landed some major shots on Marquez. Very underrated fight, I'd have to see/ know more about him to say he's a terribly underrated fighter.

The first half of your post just appeared to be a bit of a takedown, that's all. :good

Might have sounded like that, I guess.

Saw his fights with Marquez and Luevano. Decent, very tough and game fighter. Couldn't agree more on your assessment on him actually.

But I think the average description is more on how I view Luevano than about Tardsek when I said it. But it is a different topic.:D

Imagine if he DID beat those guys and was a world class fighter. Can you imagine his name on the MGM or Mandalay big signs in Vegas?

Marquez vs. Jandaeng on ESPN Classic @ 1:30 EST tonight, immediately after Shobox (which is conveniently starting an hour after FNF ends...great night of fights lined up).

5 win streak as of today. :happy

Maybe soon a step-up showdown with the #1 ranked Thai feathweight, Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo? :think

Love to see him back on American TV at some point, too. Unfortunately he's not top 10 ranked by any of the 4 orgs (#9 among feathers on the ESB August 2009 ranking).

I think Fernando Montiel is an underappreciated little fighter. He is a Mexican fighter who actually fights like Sugar Ray Leonard. He has also been a top 10 pound for pound fighter for quite some time now.

He's at least working his way back up to better competition, which makes me glad.

That kid who lost to Caballero recently. He's pretty good. I thought he would pull off the upset but IMO Caballero put in one of his best performances. The kid is nails.

Yeah Yordan is a very good fighter IMO. Was handling Guerrero before Robert quit.

Also Penalosa has an unreal chin.
