The haters will hate as usual. The fact remains that before Mayweather signed to fight Mosley, everyone said he would never fight a dangerous WW like that. He proved many people wrong regardless of the result. Mayweather may go down in the history of the sport as the guy who beat the p4p number 3, 2, and 1 after coming back from retirement. If this happens I think history will look differently at that achievement. When the last time that has been done>

Or Mosley is still a good fighter but Mayweather is that good he'll still beat him with ease. Those two ideas aren't mutually exclusive.

 

Interesting perspective.. Didn't even think about it like that but fact is after he does that he still won't get credit. For the simple fact of how obnoxious he is. Fact is, he just doesn't talk **** to talk **** about what he does. He backs it up and does the damn thing training like no other and executes his game plan to insure he gets that W. That makes people mad. I actually talked to a guy today I work with about that. He said he respects Mayweather for his fighting skill but hates how he acts and it pisses him off and can't wait for him to lose but it pisses him off even a little more that he actually backs up what he talks about by continuing to win. But ya, he's ordering the fight. Interesting paradox.

I have a feeling that even though Floyd says the talk doesn't bother him - it does and he will put on an offensive performance to just say he can do it in all facets, which he's proven before in his career. He realizes the backlash he got from the ODLH fight and will want to 'perform' a little better in this fight. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Mayweahter will win by KO/TKO by Rnd 10.. 11 at the latest. I also believe Mosley is a good fighter and would whip Pacs ass if they actually fight. That's why Roach wanted no part of that. But it's still going to be an easy fight when he faces Mosley and Pac. But Mosley will give him way more trouble than Pac can.

The Marquez fight on paper looks great in reality we all know it was a load of shite , there are fighters not even on the P4P list who would of given Floyd a tougher fight on that night , Marquez was blown up too much and stunk the joint out , added to that he was fighting Floyd Mayweather which would of made him look that little bit worse .

But to start banging on about history and where this fight stands historically is a little but ludacris !!!!!

I think the only person that Floyd Haters would hate more than Floyd is Zab.

 

This "Mosley over the hill" thing is only gonna be determined in hindsight. If Mosley looks sluggish and unable to hit anything - more because of what he can't do anymore, as opposed to whatever Mayweather IS doing - then there is no way you can say he isn't shot. If he gets knocked, then you REALLY have to think that. Mosley has never been knocked out, and has been down only twice, so for PBF - who rarely knocks people out - to knock out Shane...well, then, who can deny the "over the hill" theory?

Now, if Mosley put up a good effort, but just gets schooled, then yeah, PBF will deserve his credit.

 

Fact of the matter is, he talks ****, but the METHOD as to how he backs it up is what frustrates people.
