You need an aggressive fighter to beat Pacquiao

pac has NEVER fought a slick fighter and the only african american fighter he fought was old man mosley

As far as I can tell, you only need a 38-year old counterpunching Mexican atg to beat Pacquiao.

 

Noone can beat Pac in the 150 lb division - He is the GOAT there.

 

I think that Floyd's defense will frustrate Pac and at the same time Floyd will deliver counter right hands to Pac all night (or at least until he finishes him).

The key to beating Pac is angles... if you are too aggressive and you come right at him it lights out. Look at Pac's resume and you will notice that he struggles with skilled fighters Morales and Marquez

No you don't. Marquez was not that aggressive in their recent fight. He was looking to counter (and did) off Manny's aggression. Manny, understanding this, tried to fight a more controlled strategic fight. So, he wasn't as aggressive as he was in their past meetings. This favored Marquez. Manny is inferior to Marquez as a strategist, and was out of his element. Floyd will toy with Manny, if he uses the same approach against him.

It's a catch-22 for Manny. If he tries to be overly aggressive, when Floyd is not languishing on the ropes, he will be overpowered (Floyd has the size advantage and is the better inside fighter). If he tries to box strategically in the center of the ring, he will be picked apart, IMO.

But, that's why they fight the fights. So, I would like to see it.

 

This guy Floyd Pacquiao Jr. is a certified troll. He's clearly one of those guys who doesn't know a thing about boxing. You don't need an aggressive fighter to beat Pacquiao. You need a smart fighter. One who will shoot a couple of jabs during the breaks in actions. Marquez hung back too much. He needed to shoot more jabs to begin the exchanges and get the better of the exchange. If you believe that Manny can beat Floyd....then I'd have to say you're buggin' out. Besides...Pac's promoter says Pacman's scratch won't heal in time to fight Floyd in May.
