I've only seen it the once, but I don't think it was excessive, though maybe a bit unsavoury, borderline perhaps, as Sprott did look in trouble. Having said that, he'd just stopped a guy, at the last minute, when he was probably thinking his whole career was over - he simply celebrated?!?
Agreed a very classy gesture by evangelou as he is prving to be very humble n respectful one of the many reasons why he seems to be a very popular boxer, looking forward to seeing more of him
I think you're being a touch sensitive. Looks like he started to celebrate a career saving knockout, until his corner realised Sprott was in a bad way and got Harrison to calm it down. Maybe a number of reasons to dislike him but this isn't one of them.
nothing new from Fraudley. Remember the throat slitting gustures after beating Williams in the rematch? The man has no humility and no shame, and is a total ****ing arsehole.
You obviously don't remember Sprott's over the top celebrations, bouncing off the ropes etc while Audley received emergency medical attention after the first fight. Audley acted like a man relieved that he had saved his career against all the odds, there was no over celebration. A pointless thread about nothing.
FFS he just pulled off a final round knockout to save his career. I think everyone on this site would let out some emotion. He is human after all.
I'll give Audley the benefit of the doubt here. He'd injured his right shoulder, was behind on points and still managed to knock out his opponent in the final round with his left hand. The adrenaline will obviously have been pumping after that! Also, the medics were in the ring almost straight away to help Sprott. It's not as if he was just left lying there, in the corner of the ring.
Didn't see that fight - sounds worse than Audley last night ! Maybe i was being a bit harsh posting as soon as i got in late last night. I think the point i was trying to make was how classy newcomer Evangelou behaved and he showed real concern for his opponent.
everybody get on your feet right now for audley a-force harrison, the best p4p fighter in the world. whoever dont agree you know what,i guess yall musta forgot when i won my gold medal in sydney,australia... thats looking back on my whole career cause yall musta forgot the best p4p is mine hit danny williams with 4 hooks at one time yall musta forgot when i beat julius francais and defended my wbf the right was hurt beat him with the left yall mustve forgot you remember that left hook that michael sprott got? sucker move i stole from a game **** will there be another audley probly not stopped andrew greely with a body shot
Good shout there mate, I personally can't stand the bloke but he dug out blind there, finally showed a bit of bottle and passion so fair enough. He needs to stop gobbing off about a world title shot though, he needs at least another 2/3 fights against top european level fighters until that comes off.
