He was seconds from retirement, fought with one arm for most of the fight and pulled off shocking last minute KO. Jeez it is would be kinda hard to restrain yourself from some pent up elation. He was very respectful in the interview afterwards.
I dont think you need another reason to hate Harrison. There are already tons. It was a good win for him and im not too bothered about his celebrations but had that fight gone another minute or so we would all be on here leaving posts about how **** Audley is and how he let Michael Sprott out point him.
Until you come from behind to knock someone out and salvage your career in the 12th round you have no right to talk like you know how he felt.
I was there, it weren't that bad, he stopped when he saw Sprott was motionless and they embraced when he was up. Chris Evangelou is a Christian who says he wants to use his boxing career to help poor people, his dad does charitable missionary work, so I think we can expect classy behaviour from him.
What a load of bollocks, his celebrations were quite muted whenn you consider what he had just done and especially when you compare it to Pacquiaos celebrations while Hatton lay unconscious.
I think some people need reminding that Audley auctioned his prize fighter trophy with all proceeds going to the charity set up in memory of Michael Sprotts sister.
Yeah, exactly. Bear in mind both that Sprott celebrated his sparking of Audley by racing around the ring and doing everything short of moonsaults off the top rope. And that Audley celebrated his Prizefighter win last November by donating his trophy for auction to raise funds to support Sprott's nieces after the tragic death of Sprott's sister. Audley can be a king-sized dick sometimes, but just like everyone else he's capable of some genuine kindness and his celebrations after this victory were neither excessive nor unreasonable for someone that had just knocked his opponent flat-out with one punch after fighting so long with one hand and being on the verge of losing.
