    Split, it is a great book about a GREAT boxer and a brave man Barney Ross.
    Barney Ross and Billy Miske were true hero's of the ring...

    Split, a little tale about Barney Ross...When I was a youngster I was at a charity affair with some friends...Chatting with friends I noticed a gray haired man standing ALONE at the bar...It was the great retired Barney Ross who licked addiction to morphine by this time and just seperated
    from his wife...I wanted so badly to go over to him and shake his hand ,
    but I was too chicken to do so...He was my dad's hero ,and a true American hero,and I chickened out !
