Khan is the only obstacle to making the Brook fight happen.Khan has avoided it for so long now it's ridiculous. If he does not agree to fight Brook next then Hearn should give the Paquiao fight to Brook and feed Khan to Spence or Thurman. Whatever you think of both fighters it is clear that Brook will do anything to get the fight and Hearn owes Kel.He owes Khan nothing.
Who cares? I was listening to Khan`s fight last night on the radio and in between rounds Joe Goosen didn`t offer any decent instructions to Khan in a fight where he sounded like he was in trouble, why did Khan blame Virgil Hunter for his loss to Canelo, I heard that Hunter is ill but look at Ward`s fight IQ and watch Khan`s fight with Devon Alexandra a few years ago, he was boxing clever, now he`s gone back to the old clueless Khan who just rushes in, he`ll be knocked out by Brook in a couple of rounds, anyone with a punch will knock Khan out now, Vargas only had 14 KO`s going into this fight but decked Khan, I`ve got a better chin than Khan! Katie Taylor could knock Khan out right now!
You have just answered your own question, Ward Iove him or hate him has an excellent ring IQ.....Khan does not, once his opponent gets used to his speed he's an average fighter. People keep harping on about the Alexander fight yet choose to ignore how Algeri was bossing him physically and hurting him and all the other scrapes he's had with sub par opposition yet people are still banging on about him being top tier.
Brook said post fight that if Khan doesn't fight him next that Brook should get the Manny fight before Khan cos he has been with Matchroom longer, so sounds like he is really gonna put pressure on Hearn to make the fight so will be interesting to see what happens next. Could see Khan potentially walking away from Matchroom!
Brook can't just say Matchroom should just give him the fight. It's up to Manny and his team as well to decide who he accepts as an opponent
How has Eddie managed to convince the public that he has got Pacquiao under control and that he’s definately fighting Khan or Brook next! Lol Pacquiao will fight who he and/or Bob Arum want him to fight (there’s no way Eddie is going to be able to sign him). Pac is not fighting in the states and it would take an enormous amount of money to get him over here. I doubt it would do the PPV no’s needed to satisfy the fees to be honest.
I don't get why they bend over backwards for Khan.....he's not even liked in Daubhill or on Blackburn rd.
It's possible read on here that Brook is getting fed up with Matchroom, probably pissed off that Khan still seems to be able to dictate what happens even though they are with the same promoter
Brooks manager (His dad) is getting pissed of with Matchroom. He feels they never invested in Brook when he was champ to bring the other champs over. Brook can demand matchroom deliver (he saved there PPV ass taking the GGG fight) but its going to be up to pacman. If you was in pacman who would you choose? i would choose Khan all day. He is chinny and more winnable. Problem is Khan wants a lot of money and Manny wants a lot too. So maybe this will cancel the fight out. Hearn said the money manny wants he cannot make the numbers in the UK unless a outside investor comes forward. Khan came back for a paycheck all this wanting another belt is BS. He knows he will not beat the other 147 champs.
In my opinion Khan has no where to go. Pac is too expensive so the only alternative is Brook. I got a feeling he will agree to the fight but will make it as difficult as possible. He will probably say December is too early and will want it march/April. The sad thing is that Brook is so desperate for the fight that he will bow down to every Khan request just to get him in the ring. When it does eventually happen then Brook will bash him up good and proper and put Queen Khan in retirement.
Neither deserve a fight against a shot Pacquaio who's holding a strap. Both are coming off recent losses and wins v poor opposition. Why should they get the opportunity of getting a way past it legend on their resume, plus his world title. However, if they fought each other, the winner could make an argument for a fight against Pacman. Which makes Khan's most recent avoidance of Brook all the more frustrating. It's beyond a joke at this stage.
