You People Need to give Roy Jones Junior his repect!

you go around this forum and read peoples opinions as they do yours. It is cool its the way that boxing fans interact in 2012, and our opinions, even in forums like this slowly impact the boxing landscape.

Look at Pacquiao can't find a dance partner un-****ing believable who would have thought, over the span of 12 months. How things change, that 40 Million Mayweather offer sure sounds good now right Pac?...lol

Anyway back to Roy, he has had a great career and some of his recent fights have tarnished his legacy in the eyes of many. I don't see it like that. Don't get me wrong I thought he was dead too, after the Johnson and Lebedev KO's. I was like Roy what the **** you doing still fighting. But you can't put that much stock into those fights, the dude is in his 40's now. At his peak he was a ****ing marvel. Every bit as special as SRR, SRL, Ali and I am going to go there too, Floyd Mayweather Jr...... Roy was SUPERMAN!!

He has wins over Bernard, Toney, McCallum, Hill, Tarver, Ruiz, Trinidad.
Yeah he has been abused lately, but he did something, that had not been done in 100 years, became HW champ. I guess what I am saying is that boxing is to much what have you done for me lately. As opposed to what have you done in your carrer, ya dig!


I felt compelled to write this. To also so add one more slightly controversial point. Who the **** are you, to tell Roy that he should retire? He, my friends, has earned the right to ****ing die in the ring if he so chooses too. I am sure that won't happen and I definitely pray that never happens. I do recognize his right to come to the table and eat if he chooses too, u understand. He can do that he is Roy Jones, live with it.

At his peak he truly was Superman! And poeople, you cant take away from him, EVER!
