How about Floyd fighting WW's like Cotto and Margarito? and Manny beating Marquez at JMM's best weights ? Beating Hatton and De La Hoya much more convincingly and with ease.

JMM is not a WW and Mosley was out for 15 months before floyd faced him.

Like usual Manny will beat Mosley easier and in a more dominating fashion because he is the better fighter of the two between PBF + Manny.

Mosley is the one guy that I always thought had the right style to beat Pac we shall see.

When Manny made ODLH quit, it made Floyds win over Oscar look like :dead.

When Manny KO'd Hatton in 2, it made Floyds 10 round effort :dead.

When Manny KO's JMM at 147, it will make Floyds UD :dead.

When Manny stops Shane, it will make Floyds UD :dead.

Do you still think Manny is making Floyd look good?

it's bound to happen when pacquiao is actively fighting every fighter around his division and when the his best opponent is missing in action. berto would be much better at the weight legacy-wise but mosley, although shot, still has a chance of an upset in the first few rounds until he gassed. jmm at 140 would not even do good for pac's legacy since jmm was unproven at weights higher than 135. so this fight against mosley is a money fight for pac and nothing else. just treat it as a tune-up after some hard fights. i mean it would not be a much harder fight if arum has picked berto or marquez as opponents. imo, mosley would bring more risk among the three options especially at start.

Oscar was SD...could have been an L if he continued to come with the jab. Against Oscar, Pac was expected to lose, Oscar quit.

Floyd-Hatton, expectation, tough fight, result (tough) KO 10.

Pac-Hatton, expectation, tough fight, result (easy) KO 2.

Floyd against JMM at 147, expectation KO, expectation not fulfilled.

  8. especially since we all know this mosley fights going to be at a catchweight

floyd was not criticized when he fought mosley. in fact it's one of floyd's best win even though mosley was 39. it's just that we have to take into consideration that after the win, mosley did nothing impressive as to make this floyd victory bigger as we previously thought.

I have respect for both fighters. But I give out MORE respect to the ones who always go after the best challenges available. Right now the 140lb tournament, super six, including fighters like Sergio, Paul, and JMM are much more interesting than Pac and Floyd. These two dudes have become entertainers more so than they are boxers. I already have Sergio taking Pac's throne as P4P king. Sorry, but you gotta continue to challenge and beat some of the best in order to stay on top. The Los Angeles Lakers may be defending champs but in my view they are not the best team right now since they haven't beaten any great teams. Watching Pac-Mosley is like watching Lebron challenge Shaq. If we can't get Lebron-Kobe, wouldn't you rather see the next best thing such as Lebron-Durant?
