Roach has been a bad thing for boxing more than a good thing. I used to sort of like him as a secondary trainer, but when people started saying he was elite, then I knew that was just the trend in boxing to build up someone else. When you have Manny you will win and beat the guys you fight. Roach has been too vocal and argumentative about tactics and with other cornermen. He is not acting like a professional, and in my mind not a good trainer. Overrated completely.
