You think a Mayweather vs Cotto fight can happen?

If Mayweather negotiations with Pacquiao fail?...I know it would be tough cause Floyd and Arum don't see eye to eye and maybe Floyd doesn't think a fight with Cotto generates enough money.

Overall I would choose Floyd to win but for competitiveness sakes I would like the fight to take place at the junior middleweight limit.

Why not ..And who wouldn't want to see it ?Hell of a Plan B for Mayweather if he does go that route.

    Interesting.

Arum would win either way, but I think his hatred for all things Mayweather would probably be a barrier.

I think Floyd takes it fairly wide, by the way.

I agree with this, would be a good fight by mayweathers standards imo.

I think floyd will have a tougher fight then most people seem to think.

I would want to see it at 147.

I have always wanted to see this fight.

If Cotto bolts on Arum, then perhaps.

    If not, then no.

I thought Martinez was plan B...

Anyways, yea who wouldn't want to see this fight. I'd pick Floyd, but Cotto wouldn't lay down like Mosley did..

Whether Cotto wants to admit it or not I don't think he makes 147 easily anymore, that's why I would like the fight to be 154 so Cotto can be more competitive even in a losing effort.

154 would be better for Cotto..probably wouldn't affect the outcome though.

    Doubtful.

Not enough money, not enough legacy, and Arum.

Aside from Pac, who brings in more money than Cotto? Williams or Martinez? No

    You'd be surprised.

Cotto did 1.9 on free HBO with the replay added.

I'm just not sure how much of a draw Cotto really is now.

That's the way I see it. Arum will always be a barrier when it comes to PBF.
