when it comes to mayweather and arum fighters i dnt believe that any of them are ducking each other but they know it is going to be ifficult to get it going if arum is involved

he only wants his own fighters to fight each other

    pac
    margo
    cotto
    chavez jr
    yuri foreman
    john duddy

there arent that many other top jmw that arent top rank this way he keeps all the money in his stable

Don't hold me on this one, but I think I saw something like 22,500 or something.

I may be completely off I dont remember.

I would prefer to see Pac vs. Mayweather, but I like this as a second option more so than I do a rematch between Cotto and Pac, or a fight with Pac and Marg. I think there would be intrigue and I think it would do good numbers, but I don't know that Mayweather would agree to it. It is definitely a high risk low reward situation for him. While Mayweather could very well white wall Cotto like he did Mosley there is also the possibility that Cotto has some success against him like he normally does against slick boxers with limited power. Cotto even being competitive with May would look bad as Pac pretty much owned Cotto and a win does little to nothing for Mayweather’s status as people would just claim Pac beat him first. A loss would obviously be the worst case scenario. I would definitely buy and watch, but not too optimistic it happens.

You are right in theory, but in reality Top Rank fighters would wear some ass-whippings if Arum let Dibella and Goosen's Boys get they hands on 'em. :yep

we have to go with what we've seen and not just opinions.. mayweather is not considered a puncher.. he might hit hard all pro boxers do, but his punching power is not that much that will affect cotto coming foward and fighting his fight... floyd doesnt make boxers back up

I wanted this so bad in 2007/08 right after Cotto beat Mosely and Mayweather beat Hatton.

Doesnt mean the same now tho

If Pac vs Mayweather cant happen then its a disgrace to the sport. SOMEBODY is ducking somebody and it needs to stop.

In other news id like to see Cotto vs Williams next

The ring reports it was just over 20K, which is kinda weak considering Cotto could have done that at MSG.

Cotto-Foreman was the highest rated Boxing card on HBO in the last 2 years (since supposedly De La Hoya-Forbes). Why would you doubt Cotto's marketability now?

NOPE. Believe it when i tell you floyd fears Cotto who he knows is too rough and too tough to mess with. It's the real reason why he ducked Cotto in 2008. Cotto is a beast without any major deficiencies. His only losses are to two beasts who floyd also ducked - Margarito and Pacquiao.

fraud will never ever fight Cotto, no matter who his promoter is, you can be sure of that.

Yea when you got 22,000 there it will.

but like I said before as well in other threads.

It takes two to tango and Foreman wasn't much of anyone known.

Mayweather-Cotto would be big but I think the challenge and gained fans of Martinez would watch Mayweather-Martinez more so than Cotto-mayweather, right now.
