if the fight don't happen between pac/floyd then most likely he could be the fighter for either man in terms of money wise

If the pac negotiations fail, i don't see arum being willing to let mayweather end cotto's career. If they did fight it would make good money, but it wouldn't be a good fight. Floyd wins a wide ud @ 47 or 54.

This fight will not happen. Coz cotto shows he's not shot yet. Who give Floyd the hardest fight??? Castillo the Body puncher right??? And what Cotto specialized?? Body punching right?? Floyd will do all he can to avoid this fight. He might as well retired to keep his undefeated record on his ass.

I hope not, had this been 2-3 years ago then yes.

But Floyd didn't want to because "he's not enough of a draw" even though every boxing fan was begging for this fight.

Now ever since he fought "Manos de Yesto" Margarito and got TKO'd be Pacquiao he's been on the way down.

I agree, Mayweather beats him by wide UD, possible TKO. More competitive at 154. Mayweather still wins though by UD

cotto's not the guy. The most competitive fight out there for floyd is either martinez or maybe williams imo. Martinez may take a while for floyd to figure out & has similar attributes (speed, slickness). Williams may take a little while for floyd to time him w/ all the punches he throws & coming from that height. I'm not a biased fan fam.

my only problem w/ that is cotto doesn't even go to the body anymore. Not to mention i think floyd will be able to keep him on the outside w/ a near 5 inch reach advantage.

Yes.....I agree that Floyd would win but it would be more competitive at Jr MW. It's a legit fight that would be a good fight for both men.

Honestly, I can't see Mayweather Jr. even thinking about a Cotto fight.
(At this point a win over Miguel would mean absolutely nothing to HIM.)

contrary to what any of yall believe the real reason back in 07/08 Floyd didn't fight Cotto or Cheato had more to do with the fact they are Top Rank employee's after a bitter break up wit Old Saggy Wrinkled ass Arum who he says to this day that arum still owe him money why would he fight one of his former boss fighters and put money in his pocket the real reason was not a duck it was more off a protest or refusal to do business wit the enemy he won't fight Top Rank fighters for that very reason. Word of the day.. "RANDOM"

It's possible...but after seeing what Pacquiao did to Cotto with his speed...I can only see one winner, and I'd expect him to win big.
