I feel as though the commission is going WAY to light on Margs and his corner. I mean, come on. Look at his recent record, like 9-1 (9 ko`s)? Did they see his record before? Way less ko`s. He more than doubled his ko% against better oppostion? He does not deserve the privilege of getting into a prize ring,not for a long,long time. This is a chance to show the world that boxing can police its own sport.He`s a piece of ****, and so is his whole corner... IMO, this is cheating of the worst kind... It was such a pleasure to see him bludgeoned into defeat by Mosely...

 

And I absolutely agree, that what Margs and his corner did. Was right on par with what Resto and Lewis did aganst Collins...

 

Thats what a lot of Morons are not able to clearly understand.

Manipulated the gloves / hand wraps to gain an unfair advantage and
jeopardizing their opponents livelihood, health and family.

 

Thats what Cotto said, that he wasn't permanently damaged...but he worries for other fighters that has happened to.

Cotto said Margie's punches weren't any harder than anyone else he fought...just that as time went on his punches didn't get stronger....they just started inflicting more unusual damage that has not happened to him in any other fight previously.

Cotto is convinced that margie had loaded wraps.

 

And Clottey didn't have his hands busted up by Margie's gloves.

williams kept Margie at bay with his jabs all night...props to Williams for the win....
That doesn't clear Margie's cheating ass in any way..maybe in your unclear eyes.

 

You can say there's no proof that he cheat in that fight, but there's also no proof that he didn't cheat.

How do we know that Margo did in fact used the wraps that the commission allegedly provided? Yeah there's no proof, the wraps are long gone.


Blame only Margo for putting that question mark on his win against Cotto.

I can respect that...everyone is entitled to their opinion.....you are giving Margie the benefit of the doubt.

Its the ones that blindly defend when evidence is provided that have issues.

Yesterday Cotto came out publicly and stated that he is convinced that Margie had loaded gloves against him....he knows what gloves should feel like and Margie didn't have any unusual power at all.

At this point I'm going on circumstantial evidence and gut feeling that
Margie is a damn cheater....

Like Varg posted....if a chick cheats on you and gets caught....can you believe her when she tells you that it was her first time?

you definetly raise some good points & i understand your viewpoint on the matter,if its PROVEN hes fought with loaded gloves in any fight then he should be banned for life&have all his wins changed to no contests.

 

You miss the point entirely, not only was Cotto winning the fight but it was also pretty apparent the difference in skill level. If Margarito was using plaster in his gloves the time of the fight, could cotto have made to the last round , if the use of plaster had not cut his resilience in half ? That is the big question-mark hanging over that fight..

Also just though you should know, Williams face was pretty swollen after the fight.

I have seen your type before too many times....at a party making an ass of himself and everyone laughing....which encourages you even more because you think you are the life of the party, but in actuality just the joke.

 

First off fo rthose who say that officials were in the room for the Cotto fight, they were in the room for the mosley fight as welll. And, even while in the room for the Mosley fight Margaritos one hand was wrapped and the second was being wrapped until Nassim walked in and noticed sumthing fishy. Just because officials are in the room doesnt mean sumone cant get away with cheating. the officials could have been bribed or simply didnt notice ne thing. The were in the damn room watching Margaritos hand get wrapped but nothing was said until Richardson pointed it out!
