So what do you have to say about FROCH NOT HITTING DIRRELL'S FACE 20 TIMES IN THE WHOLE FIGHT, WHILE GETTING HIS HEAD SNAPPED BACK BY DIRRELL ON A REGULAR BASIS. Not one person who said froch won had anything to combat that point. THe only way to justify a close fight is to say that you believe froch was landing those airball flurries not touching a thing. If you believe froch won then that is your only excuse. Ignorance of not knowing what punches are landing and what punches aren't. Everytime they showed a froch replay you could see that froch was missing almost every punch of his flurry. During the fight you didn't need a replay to see froch's head snapping back as he was caught with pretty much the only flush, sharp big shots in the fight besides froch's hook in the 8th round (which was his only real shot of the fight).

YOu can talk about how you don't like how either of them fight but you can't take away the fact that one guy was getting his head snapped back consistently every round and landed the harder, sharper and only punches in the fight. To add insult to injury, froch was wobled twice in the fight.

Okay, but how many of the same thread do we need? We're getting flooded with the same thing. They're everywhere.

Dont even sweat it. In every poll the poeple who think Dirrell won is overwhelmingly more then the morons who thought Froch won.

That's what happens when there is outrage. I hate Dirrell's pre fight fake personality, his crappy avoidant tactics in the ring, but I am still sane enough to recognize that he won by a thick margine, largely because he made Froch totally clueless and inaccurate, while landing a few sharp punches in most rounds. It is not logically inconsistent to 1. be disgusted by Dirrell's style, 2. Not to be entertained by this fight and to even blame most of it on Dirrell and 3. To know enough about boxing to see who landed more and better punches.

Great! We've now established that there are more american biased posters than british biased posters on these boards.

That aside. Calling it a dodgy decission is def. valid. Dirrell lands more clean shots. But it was a close ugly fight. Froch being the defending champ and showing more agression and will to fight. Far from the highway robbery ppl are shouting about.
Far worse robberies out there. In the great US of A too.

this is getting boring now, it was a close fight that could have gone either way. dirrel should blame himself for losing rounds he could have won by engaging more. the main thing i learned from this fight is that its clear nether will win the tournament.

It has SUPPOSEDLY spread outside of those two places lately. But from my position here in Denmark I don't put too much faith in those silly rumours.
