Not a chance. Amazing the way the accusations started when steroid rumors hit the public conscious.

Fifteen years later? Blood on a shoe? **** off!

The trainer was clearly taking breaks in between filming to lick the window next to him. Bull****/drunken accusations.

He was naturally rock solid, always was.I know he was friendly with that Essex crew and he was always the one I liked least of the great Triumvirate, but I'd like to think he didn't need steroids when he was boxing at a high level. It's a no for me.

Give any yank a conspiricy whisper & they'll run to the moon & back with it:lol:

    Roswell
    Alien Abduction
    Area 54
    9/11..FBI Conspiricy
2nd gunman on the grassy knoll..(Kennedy Assassination)

    Full-on wankers:lol:

It was Nigels HEART/COURAGE & NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUDE that won him that fight & he was smashed up into the bargain. Once the adrenaline dropped he collapsed:smoke

 The very idea that Gerald's trainer had the dried blood on his boots tested, found traces of steroids and then kept his silence for some reason for 15 years is ridiculous.

It's possible. He hung out with those Essex gangsters, Pat Tate and what's-his-name, who were juiced to the eyeballs. So he would have been exposed to it.

Secondly, he collapsed - through what he described as exhaustion - on the way to be drug tested after the fight. Due to collapsing he had to be checked by doctors and avoided the test. In the documentary, the filmmaker said allegations have been made he did this deliberately. Benn denied it, but I found it suspicious the way he was fine celebrating in the ring, doing the post-fight interviews and posing with Don King but then collapses on the way to the test.

Finally, he all but admitted to using Peds in the documentary but not during his boxing career. He made that statement at least twice. So he has basically admitted to using steroids at some point in his life.

All of this does not incontrovertibly make Benn guilty, but I believe it is suspicious and if this one of the Klitschko's many of the posters dismissing it out of hand, would be crucifying them.
