You think Vitali put on a sloppy performance on purpose to lure Haye in?

I don't think so. He has a huge fan base, don't think he would disappoint them on purpose.

No, because I don't think it was a sloppy performance. It looked like Vitali's normal wear them out, then knock them out performance.

The guy was a bum, and had a massive size disadvantage
But he still managed to land some clean shots on a plod forward Vitali.

Sosnowski landed nothing of significance the entire fight.

And Sosnowski is not a bum, he's 45-3, and was in the best shape of his career. He gave it everything he had, mentally and physically, you have to give him credit for that.

Is he a world beater, no. Will he ever be a Champion, no. With that said, I would give Sosnowski a 50/50 chance against several in the Top 10.

I said before the fight happened that it would be funny for Vitali to fake being in trouble, just to lure Haye in.

If Vitali has of faked being knocked down in round 10, then Haye would have been signing a contract to fight him before the opening bell of round 11.

However I don't think Vitali deliberately looked bad.

Vitali took his time in a stay-busy fight. I dont think it was to lure Haye in, ...it normally just takes a few connections to **** Vitali off where he'll end it.

This is dumb - you don't fake looking sloppy cos while you're "faking" the other guy takes you out. For me he wasn't so much sloppy as sluggish - was it due to being underprepared, undermotivated or the ageing process? I don't know but watching it last night i have to say I'd have fancied Haye to get some serious shots home.

it could very well be the case, vitali didn't show any killer instinct, only a few times he followed up a jab with a right hand.
Wlad just fights scared, vitali normaly throws more punches then last night.
He is either old, luring in haye or both.
Regardless of what his intentions were i can see haye beating him.
His footwork is awful and speedy fighters can give him trouble.
Problem is that haye is acting cowardly nowadays and therefore missing the boat.
He can win against either klit on a good night.

Vitali didn't look anything like the fighter who destroyed Peter and Arreola. He hasn't deteriorated that much in such a short period of time. I have my suspicions.

Vitali looked demotivated to me. At this point in his career with only a few fights left his intention is surely to secure his legacy therefore he will want big fights to go out on a high. At 38 and hundreds of bouts under his belt (amateur and pro) fighting a European level fighter must be nigh on impossible to get motivated for. Throughout the fight he never once looked troubled, he was so relaxed infront of Sosnowski that even when he pressured he never even looked fazed. He won the fight with unbelievable ease and at a canter. It's hard to score a ruthless knockout without a decent opponent infront of you to bring out those fighting instincts - instead it plays out like a sparring session.

Haye ain't gonna fight Vitali Klit until Vitali is over age 40........ However, I'd like to see the great V.K. retire here in '10......

doesn't help that sosnowski was all class leading up to the fight its hard to want to go in there and destroy someone who says and does all the right things leading up.

What's interesting is that some ESB experts say Haye is miles better than Sosnowski. If this is true, maybe Haye can do some damage? :think
