No pakin way!! Ward was not known for his power!! While Bika was known for his Granite Chin!!

It's easy to see this!! It doesnt take a Genius to analyse this!!

Why not? If anyone will be or can be the first to stop Bika it might as well be Ward. Boxing is pretty weak in this era so it is not like there is an abundance of talent to get the job done outside of someone like Ward. Inevitably someone will accomplish it. Ward is probably not at his absolute peak yet - at 26 1/2 - while Bika - at 31 1/2 - is certainly as strong as he will ever be right now.

Still, I expect Ward to shut him down convincingly. He will bank round after round -- one by one -- the accumulation of clean punches will break Sakio down bit by bit -- and he will catch a weakened Bika cleanly late, he'll see that he's hurt, he'll jump all over him, and he'll drop him. They'll continue and Ward will land from all angles and the ref will step in to stop the battering.

Bika has the usual puncher's chance to catch the superior talent and athlete if he were to be careless, reckless, unprepared, taking his opponent for granted, or some combination of these. I don't expect that to happen. Bika may well have the chin to lose convincingly over twelve and not get stopped. But, this pre-peak version of Ward certainly already has the tools to stop the far less talented Bika. Andre's hand and foot speed, quickness, and ring craft will insure he lands far more often and cleanly then anyone Bika has ever faced.

What makes you think he can break Bika down when he couldn't do it to Green and Miranda?

Ward doesn't have much power. He could not even KO Miranda and Green. 2 fighters that aren't too hard to KO.

I give him zero chance to KO Bika. Lack of power will cause the downfall of Ward in future big fights.

Beware of the DQ win, though. It's on the same line as the KO/TKO.

What? Bika would have almost certainly knocked out Mendy legitimately if he hadn't hit him when he was down.

Yes, but Ward can win by DQ because Bika may get disqualified for being dirty.

You can't think of any reasons? You are simply unable to imagine how that might happen? It would be more relevant to note Bika has NEVER been stopped (to date) - than to emphasize a comparative regarding Green and Miranda (or how they fared).

For example, you think just because Joe Calzaghe went life and death with fireman David Starie he wasn't able to later get a ref's stoppage over Manfredo the Magnificent? Well, he did. :D

Ward's career isn't only or ultimately measured by what he accomplished as a 25 year old. Year by year he still has time to get physically stronger and his peak is still ahead of him. He may well be better at 27, 28, 29, and 30 than he was at 25/26. You get it? It hasn't been long since Miranda, Kessler, and now Green - and Ward isn't at his peak yet - but Bika is not elusive and if the 26 year old lands consistently it is quite possible that Bika will be the worse for wear in the later rounds - setting up the first career stoppage of Sakio Bika.

But, using your tack, it can be equivalently noted that if Ward could dominate and force Kessler out of a fight in under the distance (and Kessler IS a superior talent to Bika or Miranda) then he can surely do the same to Sakio Bika. [Beating Kessler's ass round after round finished him and the stoppage allowed him to leave standing with some dignity in tact rather than horizontally. Fortunately, that merciful decision also allowed and enabled him to have one more ample pay day against Carl Froch (and he came out of that fight like a crash test dummy anyway - barely holding up physically). Still, that is like an extra few sport cars, trips to the French Riviera, and a couple years of blow and chicks for Mikkel in retirement.]

OR, if Codrington can rock Bika multiple times then so can a superior talent as Andre Ward.

OR, if Lucian Bute and Joe Calzaghe (two ice rink champions) can have so many tough rounds struggling with the unstoppable Bika then Ward will have a great chance at stopping him.

But, if Bika pulled off an Andrade (a far worse no-talent) and managed to get lucky and land a hail Mary bomb rocking Ward in the 12th but lose a one-sided decision - would ya then say Andrade is better than Bute or Bika than Ward? lol

Well, if that happens then you can say - at a minimum - that the 26 year old version of Ward didn't become the first to stop Sakio Bika.

He might be able to stop him through an accumulation of punches late on if he dominates throughout. Highly unlikely though, this get go to the scorecards early as it'll probably be a very dirty fight and I can see one of them getting a Kessler-style cut from a headbutt

They both are dirty. It could get ugly. Ward will win clear UD.
