My 2 years plus off spending many days and hours a week on the mat is far superior then a few months training from Toney. I dont see why I wouldnt be confident vs a guy with almost no experience. BTW a grappling match is not about who is the superior natural athlete its about finding out who the superior and more skilled grappler is.
I'm pretty sure that I'd be a better grappler than he is (or at least have a lot better understanding of technique and position) but he'd be a hell of a lot more coordinated and strong than I am so I would only be able to sub him if I got lucky and he sat in a really bad position long enough. I'll say I probably wouldn't be able to sub him, but I doubt he's sub me.
I would beat him in a grappling match. I've spent enough time rolling to be able to defend myself and be able to tap him. Against Jimmie I'm sure I'd have to tap. I need to get my ass to TPC and put some time in.
I passed good blue belts guard the other day, managed to get mount as well. He did regain half after a bit and take my back, and almost choke me. But still If you are under 160. I challenge you to a roll, if your ever in Scotland. I think I would tap James, Ive tapped people that are >200lbs and also know what the **** they are doing.
I don't know Jimmie or 190osh but I know that they roll so I would think they could beat Toney. Toney didn't have a ****ing clue against Couture. Toney didn't know how to tap, he didn't even know not to let Couture pass guard or he'll secure the sub. He didn't even know how to try and pull guard for safety. I am of the firm belief that somebody couldn't be more unprepared if they tried. Go on 196 and jimmie, tap dat foo'.
I can honestly say one thing, I have and never will be mounted directly from being ankle picked. No vids, thankfully.
If Fedor wishes to blow a kiss at you and then mount you, he shall; for Fedor is the emperor of all men! note: i mean this in a truly gladitorial fashion despite the strong homosexual undertone.
