Yall need look at his (ortiz corner..for distracting the ref..and victor..after..the ref started the contest again... floyd was lookin at his opposition.....like he was suppose to(not playin attention to out the ring matters) victor was distracted just like cortez...do to ortiz's corner.... ortiz should maybe thing of trainig with with manny steward...or floyd sr..... or pernell whitaker or even roach!!!!!... just a thought
I was there. You are wrong. The only person to blame is Ortiz. He turned into a rhinoceros and hit Mayweather with the second best shot of the night, the killer intentional headbutt. After two hugs in the corner, Cortez finally dragged Ortiz to center ring to deduct the point. After, Cortez motions to begin action, Ortiz touches gloves, then tries to give Floyd a third hug around the hips, then steps back with his hands down. Floyd pops him with a left hook. Pauses (the opposite of what a dirty fighter would have done). He sees Ortiz turn his head with his hands still by his side and lights out. Legit KO, no other way to see it.
Have to agree, Ortiz has himself to blame. No dirty head butt, maybe no KO. Proteect yourself at all time!
