Put him in against Kirkland. Kirkland will beat the hell outta him. Plus, it will get people talking about a Mayweather fight. Kirkland is the one guy that I think can beat Mayweather. I don't think Mayweather needs to fight Kirkland because he's proved so much as it is. The only fight he owes to the public is a fight against Pacquaio because he talked all that **** about Pacquaio. But if you want to see Mayweather in a war where he gets bloody, win or lose, put him in with Kirkland. Kirkland is the WORST fighter to go up against when you're an older guy like Mayweather.
I'd be very interested in Lara/Kirk. Lara can't deal with pressure guys. I mean he made Angulo look effective when reality, Angulo is a caveman. And Kirk is the definition of a pressure fighter. No way this fight goes the distance. Kirk either Kos Lara or gets Koed trying.
I suppose you can't discount some kind of freak KO, but in the event that doesn't happen, you saw what Angulo did to him right? Kirkland is more relentless, hits harder, has better defense, and those uppercuts to the body would wear Lara out. We would never have to see a staring match featuring Lara again. Besides, Lara has no chance against Mayweather. You can't beat Mayweather by boxing him. You have to make him fight. The only guy that I can think of capable of putting Mayweather in a dog fight is Kirkland.
Lara looked pretty easy to hit in the fight with Angulo, if not for the thumb in the eye, he would have lost..............
