only 3-4 fighters need to emerge as an ATG then JC gets picked off any respectable top 100 ATG list

It ****ing annoys the amount of discusion he gets here but it a concerted effort on the part of the limeys to continue to wax lyrical about that *******, but in truth he was an overrrated bore.....

 

The reason he gets talk is cause he's everything the American fighters can't be. A down to earth, solid competitor who goes in to give it his all every single fight, never worried about who was getting the most money in the fight and took every fight seriously.

The fact that you still have guys attempting to downgrade his achievements makes me laugh. Very few fighters can claim to be the best ever at their weight - he can.

And this is from a guy that lives in America,"...everything an American fighter can't be.A down to earth,solid competitor who gives it all his every single fight....".Sounds just like Paul Williams and Shane Mosely amongst others,by the way.But in JC's case,you forgot LIAR because in his autobiography,he claimed Jones was an unworthy opponent because he was shot due to his brutal ko losses to Johnson and Tarver.He also claimed that because Jones was shot,that he would never fight him.But,as history transpired,once the fight was signed,Joe told everyone that would listen that Roy was still great.There's nothing like lying in order to make an easy buck and enhancing one's reputation.I admit Joe was a great fighter and was a fan before he lied about Jones,but now realize that anything that comes forth from his mouth cannot be taking seriously because he is such a ****ing liar in order to make a buck and make himself look better.
