It's amazing, a complete travesty, that only a boxing fan knows about this fight. How did it all go so wrong? I mean, the Pascal fight was on ITV and it was a brilliant clash. The economic downturn and Froch's poor management have coupled to neglect a fighter who is far more deserving than many before him.

I feel for Froch. Bunce was on Talksport yesterday talking about how the newspapers have virtually zero interest in our sport these days. I suppose it takes a behemoth with virtually no skills squaring off against a braggadocio to make people sit up and notice.

Oh well, Froch made his bed, he'll have to lie in it, but he deserves so much more.

I like Froch and I miss watching boxing on terrestrial tv but this is tempered by the feeling that perhaps boxing is getting its just desserts. Boxing seems happy to serve up phoney world champs and belts, deplorable world title challengers, rigged rankings and often poor or suspicious judging and expect others to buy into it. Froch and Hennessy are unlucky in that they are bucking the trend (no way would Froch even be in the Super 6 if promoted by Warren) but even though boxing fans are seemingly comfortable with this current stream of dime a dozen world title fights, should we be that surprised when even a decent one is met with indifference by tv, press and the general public.

Froch is a bigger name in the states than Khan and Haye so you win some and you loose some.

a dunno why ya think froch would not be in the super six if he was with warren he let paul smith in to the contender he does sometimes lets his fighter go in to tough fights look at mitchell katsidis fw promotes a fighter the proper way so that the public no the fighters

the people who should be getting just deserts should be people abusing positions of authority, but not the people at the grass roots of the sport, - the fans, trainers, and the boxers, from stars to journeymen. Do you think it is fair for us to be suffering at the lack of coverage?

Its not just being a good boxer which makes somebody a star. You need other things as well. Nazeem Hamed was a star attraction before he became a world champion as there was something about him which caught the imagination of the public. Calzaghe went his whole career unbeaten but would I call him a star. No way. Not everybody can be that 'star', just the way it is.

Granted Froch doesnt really help himself being promoted by a loser and having his fights shown on a PPV channel the majority of people dont know exist.

Terrestrial tv has nothing to do with it. Stars can be built without terrestrial tv.

What happened with Hennessy and Sky then? Froch used to fight on Sky Sports. What happened?

i dont think a sport where a looser can be made the winner is apealing to the average man on the street, its like one team gets the goal and the other the point.very bad decisions is insulting the average mans inteligence,i remember a fight on bravo were they done a poll, about 80 pcnt veiwers thought red corner won but blue corner got it. don't think ive seen boxing on that station since.

he did but the super six was geddin put together around the time froch says it himself that the super six saved him he would be strugglin if that didnt come about fact just shows ya how promoters and managers can make a fighter cause hes got talent possibly more than calzagie but calzagie didnt need no super six tournement to be as well known as he is today
