Arguello was the greatest at the weight, whether he beats floyd stylewise H2H is another thing but he beat better fighters in his reign... I`d fancy Chavez over floyd at 130 stylewise H2H & his record is comparable with floyd`s at the weight. So I would say no, floyd is not the best nor the greatest at 130, he is up there near the top on both categories tho.
:rofl:rofl:rofl *******s are funny people. Floyd is the GOAT at 130 and idiots like this don't realize that Chavez had problems with movement.
Floyd beats Alexis Arguello. And the point here is that he's already the greatest in most fans eye's over Arguello or Chavez. You can try and claim any of the 3 are the GOAT at 130 but just the fact that Floyd is the majority winner to that claim shows how good he is.
Loved Arguello as a kid watched him all the time on cbs back in the day, Money would take him he was just to slow and Money to skilled .
Floyd was amazing at sfw, but stylistically the sfw Chavez Sr outfights him all day long. And sfw Arguello and Nelson would give Floyd very tough fights (though I think PBF could outpoint them both).
If Floyd loses one to Castillo then wins the return by running (only 5lbs north of sfw), he ain't beating the best sfw JCC, who was basically Castillo except significantly better in every conceivable way - faster, smarter, more skilled, more powerful, much better at cutting off the ring, much better at combo-punching, just way way better. I don't see the evidence for thinking Floyd beats JCC at 130 when he struggled with Jesus Chavez until he got on his bike and starting picking his shots. Jesus Chavez is to Julio Cesar Chavez what Sugar Ishe Smith is to Sugar Ray Robinson.
Duran would kill Him. Chavez would give him a one sided beating make him **** blood . And Arguello would lay him out with one punch.
