I almost want to say Foreman in the 80's/early 90's was just as good if not better than he was in the 70's. I think his stamina and chin definitely improved, and he didn't seem to lose any power either.

George would need a clear opening, and it would likely take a combination of shots to the head as opposed to just one punch. His defense in the 70's was rather porous and his stamina not the greatest.. Foreman could pull it off, but I'd have to make Lennox the favorite. He was the bigger man, better skilled, more mobile, better stamina, and enough power to rival Foreman's.

Not as strong, not as much heart, not as devastating. Foreman in 4 rounds. Superior chin decides it.

I have never gotten a reaction with a guy who has sparred/fought both. However, I have gotten a lot of reaction on Lewis' strength from those who shared the ring with him. The opinion was unanimous that Lewis was incredibly strong.

Lewis had enough heart to beat every man he faced and stay at the top of the game for a decade amidst the greatest run of power punches the division has ever seen.

Lewis has a bad chin because he was down twice? In an era where he fought Morrison, Ruddock, Bruno, Vitali, Tyson, Tua, Grant, Briggs, Golota, Tucker and Mercer? That's a pretty high standard you set considering that Foreman went down against Young and Ali.

horrible way to answer with demagoguery, you know perfectly that foreman was gassed in both fights late, foreman took shots from ali and jimmy young in the early rounds like nothing, it was nothing because the chin. foreman had clearly a better chin than lewis, and he was ths stronger man too. holyfield could tell you it

i can´t see how leiws was the bigger man... he weighed 245 pounds but he was slow like crap at this weight, lewis was great and fast at 228 against ruddock and at 235 pounds too, lewis was a bit taller, foreman was nearly 6´4 and lewis was 6´5, forman at 18 in the amateurs weighed 229 pounds, lewis at 23 in the amateurs against bowe weighed 220 pounds, does not matter if he trained in a gym and he got 245 pounds, foreman could carry 245 pounds as well.. but his best weight (not drained) was 224.230 pounds and the best of lewis was 228-235(a few pounds heavier because the height) he he was a bit taller, but he was not" the bigger man" and george was naturally better built for the strength and the power. lennox was naturally more athletic and agile

This is what i'm talking about with regard to Lewis supporters. Everyone of those opponents were either shot or past their prime by the time Lewis got around to them. Don't forget to include Holyfield, McCall, and Rahman in there, they were all great accomplishments as well LOL. Not one of those victories is a serious credit to Lewis, not one. Furthermore, Tyson, Tucker, Tua, and Holyfield would've handed Lewis his ass in their primes. Hell, Klitschko would've likely handed Lewis his 3rd loss in a rematch if it would've happened, that's assuming Wlad didn't get to him first.

70s Foreman KO 2. Foreman had a snapping jab and was physically
stronger than Lewis, and had greater punching power. Foreman had
an iron chin as well. Lyle had a hell of a right hand. Lewis has the tools and
power to beat Foreman, but Foreman walks him down and lands hookercuts
and rights with brutal precision. Lewis couldnt handle the power.
    Foreman could handle Lewis's power.
Lennox UD comeback George. I feel Lewis would not try to bomb out
old George early. However, perhaps Lewis could have scored a tko in this
fashion. I believe Lewis plays it as safe as possible, and uses his jab.
Still a dangerous fight as Big George had a great jab and Power. Lewis
has plenty of shaky moments, but outpoints and batters George.

    1. No he was not dehydrated in his prime, Can you expand
    2. No he was just bigger in general
    3. Foreman lifted light weights but smarter? True but that was because all he ha left was some power and his pain threshold.

Ye but Ruiz has nothing to do with this, almost Holyfield was nearing 40
