    Two fighters who were near unbeatable in their prime, but no prime footage exists of them and their contemporaries (as far as I know)

    Where's the best place to read up on these two from a fighting style point of view, are there any latter day boxers who mimicked their styles?

    I'm trying to get a handle on these two as boxers.

    Basically says Dixon was the fighter Gans tried to emulate.

    They say he's the father of the slick black style of fighting.

    He's been considered by many the best 118 pound fighter of all time.

    That was an epic read. Thanks for posting.

    I don't think he had the power of someone like Gans, hence why he probably was a tad more aggressive when he felt his opponent weakening.

    But that post is amazing, well done mate.
