Cook bangs up top with some left hooks. Aucoin tries to get a few underhanded body shots in but is getting clocked on his bald dome with lefts and rights. All power punches from Cook. Uppercut inside while Aucoin tries to tie him up. Slapping wide shots by Aucoin. Clinch. Aucoin's nose is spurting blood like one of those suburban automatic lawn waterers. Cook better hope he's HIV negative, because a lot of that must be getting in his mouth as close together as they are. Aucoin is slapping away in a frenzy and landing a bit inside. Cook starts to jab again, and then ducks down low almost below his own belt. Heads grind together. Aucoin slaps up top and gets held back with his arms pinned by Cook's. Right hand lead by Cook, blocked. Jab blocked. Body shots by Cook now. Aucoin pushes his jab and then holds. Cook steps back and hooks. Combo by Cook at the bell.

Round 5

Cook is landing jabs and hooks to the face as Aucoin pushes his way inside and tries to lean in with his arms. High straight combos between the gloves by Cook, and a hard body shot. Aucoin's head is snapped back by an uppercut. Counter right by Cook backing up to the ropes as Aucoin tries to push in on him with a jab. Straight jabs to the face by Cook backing up. Cook ducks down and holds, then counters with some chopping rights as Aucoin slaps his way in on him and lands a bit.

50-45 Cook

 

Round 6

Hard jabs on the back foot by Cook. Aucoin is throwing some hard hooks up top and bludgeoning his way into the clinch. Cook is trying to shove him back but a bit arm weary. Cook is chased back to the ropes and caught with a wild right hand, but regains his balance in time to catch Aucoin pouncing on him with a grab. Cook pushes back into Aucoin and works the body. Uppercut by Cook stepping back. Aucoin pulls down on Cook's arm with his left and spanks at his side with his right. Short right hand inside by Cook. They separate and Cook lands a flurry to the face.

Laboring against the likes of Aucoin (although I had him sweeping) doesn't exactly indicate to me that Cook is some kind of big time hot shot prospect. :think

Yeah, I like Daley over both Cook and Oliveira. :good Higher ceiling for sure. (unless there's something to that bit of armchair phrenology someone threw out, about having a similar chin structure to Allan Green :err)
