Young Stribling

    Nine inch reach advantage over Walker, boxrec also lists Walker as 5'7 to Max's 6'1.

    Max was rock solid at 190 plus, and was 180'ish pounds when he was 23 years old. Stribling was a MW at the same age if I'm remembering correctly.

    Ya, Schmeling was not a small guy. He had no fat on him.

    Smaller fighters? Both were 6' 1" Max was 2 1/2 lbs heavier, at 189lbs.

    Freddie Mills - 1956 - 224 pages

    Rarer still is this book. Onna the all time greats names W.L. as the best he ever fought.
    I recollect it was Slapsie Maxie.

    Stribling was around the same size at that same age. They both were sometime light-heavies turned cruiser-sized heavies. They were the exact same size.
