It would have been over before the 6th round. Mosley looked like an old man last night; slow as molasses and totally uncoordinated. A younger Mosley would have never let Floyd off the hook or froze up like he did. Floyd's lucky he caught Mosley at the end of his career. But I'm sure he knew this. [yt]Hc9OPozmpXs&[/yt]
I dont think so I think the combination throwing younger Mayweather wouldve finished off Mosley and his one dimensionalism.
Gander Tasco when will you accept that it wasnt age that doomed Mosley but it was PBF's skill? You sound like a bitter fan
i hate this "let him off the hook" **** from what i saw mayweather held on and smotherd shane and by the end of the round was back on the front foot therfore mayweather took himself off the hook
Again, how does Shane being younger drastically change the outcome? He got utterly outclassed to the point that theirs no way you can possibly believe he wins at any point in his career. 1. He still doesn't have jab. 2. He still doesn't adjust well in fights. 3. He still has defensive incapabilities.
I'm not even much of a Mosley fan. I have eyes though. Mosley looked every bit his age. His punches had nothing on them and he looked slow and uncoordinated. You know damn well a younger, fresher Mosley would have taken Floyd out of there.
And yet an old Mosley was able to stun Floyd and win the first two rounds. Mosley either gassed out or froze up after that and didn't do anything for the rest of the fight. And it wasn't anything Floyd was doing. He was giving Shane ample opportunity to hit him, but Shane just couldn't pull the trigger, and he didn't' have the speed or coordination anyway. Shane had an obvious reach and height advantage and he was bigger then Floyd. He showed in the first two rounds what he do and he just froze up. A young Mosley would have bombed Floyd out of there.
