Who is #1 in your opinion and who would have the best chance to beat him in a prime vs. prime match up?
I rank Lenox Lewis #1 I would give Mike Tyson because of Lewis's questionable chin and Tyson's style. As well as his size and speed.

I like Ali at his utter peak to win any match in history. Finishing ahead of all three monsters Liston, Foreman and Frazier is something i am not sure any other man in history can do - an incredible achievement.

Holmes and Lewis are the other two i like and Joe Louis pushes too.

Ali is my number 1 heavyweight. I think Lewis, Louis and Dempsey would have the best chances at beating him. In a series of three fights, though, I can't see any of them winning more than one.

One has to be Ali for me, cliched as that probably sounds.

Agreed, with Holmes and Lewis on the next tier but very doubtful.

Ali is my top heavyweight...and the heavyweights I think would give him a fight through styles or physicality are Louis, Holmes, Lewis (size and skill), and I think a prime Holyfield would give Ali a fair fight (could not beat him though)...Ali would own Tyson from a psychological standpoint...he would drive Tyson over the edge.
