how do you see the current 140 division and whats your rankings? mine is 1.ricky hatton 2.paulie mallignaggi 3.andreas kotelnik 4.timothy bradley 5.ricardo torres 6.junior witter 7. jose luis castillo 8.juan urango 9.demetrius hopkins 10. vivian harris
Maybe a bit unfair on Witter given that he has beaten Kotelnik and has been at world level for longer. Castillo is a tough one. On night a) he could lose to all of the other 9, and night b) he may beat most of them. I think he's nightmarte to find a ranking for. Probably the only clear rankings are Hatton then that Yankee *** with the hair.
1. Hatton 2. Bradley 3. Witter 4. Malignaggi 5. Kotelnik 6. Torres 7. Ngoudjo 8. Urango Can't think of anybody half decent to fill positions 9 and 10
01. Ricky Hatton 02. Paulie Malignaggi 03. Timothy Bradley 04. Junior Witter 05. Andreas Kotelnik 06. Ricardo Torres Don't care about the rest..
Plain and simple hatton is the man at 140 :good Mallinaggi is 2 but would get a beat down off hatton I think bradley would be a tougher fight for hatton but i still think hatton takes it. Hatton needs to stay at 140 and forget about mayweather, unify the titles and bow out. Would like to see hatton-torres
1 Hatton 2 Paulie (atm) 3 Bradley 4 Witter 5 Torres 6 Kotelnik 7 Hopkins 8 Castillo 9 Ngoudjo 10 Holt (maybe)
You've got to have Kendall Holt on the list. The ony reason he lost to Torres in the first place was because the fight was in Colombia and there were a number of sleazy circumstances that arose because of it. This guy dominated Mike Arnaoutis, who in terms of skill is probably towards the middle or bottom half of the top ten. I think his speed is the best in the division and he can really wreak havoc for anyone at the weight. I fully expect him to win the rematch on July 5.
That's a good list... others underrate Kotelnik even if all his losses could've been wins: a very close loss to Witter (would've been a win in Germany, possibly a draw in a neutral location), 2 controversial losses to M'Baye. But where's Ngoudjo and Holt?
i had ndgjou at 11 and to be honest i totally forgot about holt lol, i would have certainly included him probably about eighth:good
Branco decision was spot on imo, which is good because it looked a prime candidate for a complete hometown travesty. Branco beat Lynes more clearly than Witter did for me. Tbh I could put one of a dozen fighters in tenth on that list, which underlines the lack of depth of quality in the division.
