It's not a great division is it? I mean there isn't really a true elite in there, you could probably make a case for Hatton being A-, although he hasn't looked like it

Outside of Vernon there isn't much at Junior Middle. Angulo and Kirkland are superb, exciting young prospects with lots of upside but much to prove. They're pretty much the most exciting piece of the junior middle puzzle. Unless you're a Joel Julio fan of course.

    Here's my 140 rankings:

    1-Ricky Hatton
    2-Paulie Malignaggi (by default)
    3-Kendall Holt
4-Steve Forbes (if he still counts in this divison)
    5-Ricardo Torres
    6-Timothy Bradley
    7-Junior Witter
    8-Herman Ndoujo
    9- Juan Urango
    10- Vivian Harris

Fights gotta get made, though. Talent is only the first half of the equation. If the best fights aren't getting made between them, it doesn't matter if the top 10 is all HOF talent.

The object was to rank them.

If this was a 'Name people who fight at 140' thread, you'd have got it nailed.

Yes, Lazcano getting KO'd TEN YEARS AGO really has a bearing on how good he is now.

Torres got comfortably outboxed by Holt and he'll get beat this time, because he won't have his fans throwing things at Holt and a trigger happy referee.

Apart from his gift over Holt, what has Torres actually achieved besides getting sparked by Cotto?

I'm sorry, but D-Hop ain't going anywhere. That cat got his ass kicked out of his apartment by uncle Mary, and it ain't getting any better from there. He has no stand out attributes that lead me to think he competes with any of these guys
