I'm pretty sure Philly and I were trying to use our favorites rather than who was the most viable

    Make sense,
Well then, swap Moorer for Marvin Johnson and Hagler for Saunders then that's more or less my favourite southpaws at those weights.

yeah I didn’t use Hopkins because this forum largely dislikes him. WW I picked Harris although I knew he was to unproven to get picked. I always wanted to see Basset the interim champ vs saddler...and I could have used Benny Bass instead but don’t know how many are familiar with him. Depending on the criteria I guess I could use Liston instead of Frazier and perhaps thrown in Ambers as well. Either way it was fun bro.

I know a little bit from when I was researching fighters for my top 100 p4p, him holding Canzoneri to an SD and being a 2 weight champion were standouts for me. He just never had a career defining win. Would appreciate if you could do a thread for him with any insider info

not sure I would be qualified to do a thread like that. But maybe in the future. For whatever it is worth Dempsey said he was the greatest fighter he ever saw. And perhaps Bud Taylor could qualify as such a win

I think he just got tired of ," fighting vainly the old ennui" when he was," out on a quiet spree".

Loving that Shibata vs Loma pick. This one would have the most aesthetic combined movement ever seen in a bout lol.
