Christensen was lucky to become Euro champ ,he only won it because McCormack knocked him down and as he was rising hit him again, so he won on a dsq .He won just 3 of his 8 fights in the US and Emille Griffith beat the **** out of him, dropping him 3 times before he quit.
And he was never top ten ranked.

What I didn't like about Colin Jones was his reliance on his punch to act as peace-maker. There was so much neglected about his style that he would let a fight get a way from him. There is no way he should have let Milton McCrory escape with a draw and a decision win. He just waited and waited and waited. Let's be honest, he got lucky with both Kirkland Laing fights, pulling the fat out of the fire with his punch after trailing twice. Nothing learned, just rely on the punch. 'Boy' Green on the otherhand, was an in-your-face grinder. Lacking Jones one punch KO power, he would just pound away until you wilted. In a fight between the two, Jones wouldn't be getting outboxed and wouldn't have to go looking for Green. Neither of these two were multi-dimensional. And prior to that 11th round left hook by Palomino, no one spoke ill of Green's jaw. He ground down Piedvache and Stracey and I had him ahead against Palomino through 10 rounds taking everything form these guys without a glimmer of an issue. Both prime I think this would be a tremendous fight and I think Green would have his hand raised at the end by the referee's verdict. Just my opinion guys.

I should also mention I think Green was damaged goods after Palomino. After that bout the punch-resistance was gone. Like Cuevas, O'Grady, Bramble. A bad KO against an irresistible force and the jaw was never the same.
