Your 5 most hated active boxer and Why

That, my friend, is the question.

 

Most funny thing is that most fighters named here are elite.

Do you guys love boxing?
To me you just sound like a bunch of cheeleaders.

 

I don't know. That's like if someone says they love music but hate Madonna, and you say saying "do you love music? Or are you a cheerleader?" She sells a lot, she's won awards... doesn't mean you have to like her brand of music. Some fighters may fight in a style you don't like, or may not perform up to their ability. Or they may just talk so much trash that you can't stand the sight of them. Boxing is a sport that is driven just as much by personality and entertainment as it is by skill.

 

I can't get over how many people list Darchinyan. How did it become so popular to hate a fighter with so much balls?

I mean the boxing world is filled with disrepectful people and trash-talkers. There is no way that Vic is the worst offender there. And of all boxers he is one who will bring exciting fights and try to take on the best.

Is it because of the vocal Filipinos who have made it seem a fait accompli that he must be a villian? Cause there is no way he should be getting so many people hating on him.

 

1. Golota - I've never seen a fighter pull so many ***** moves in the ring and still have so many fans. Dude is a mental case and certified piece of ****.
2. Margarito - Cheating ***** who could have permanently taken another fighter's long term health. He knew exactly what was in his wraps.
3. Ruiz - Worst style ever. Glad that Tua iced him once upon a time.
4. Toney - The biggest waste of natural fighting ability. Too lazy to to do anything but spar during "training." He wins all his fights by robberies now because there are so many Toney nuthuggers still around.
5. Lyakhovich - Bum

 

I came around on Vic after the Mijares fight. I was very late coming to the realization that he was more than simply a crude brawler. Trash talking is fine IMO, as long as you have the ability to back up your words.

I think the Vic hatred stems from people who don't like loudmouths in any form, people who find his style painful to watch, people still laughing at the Donaire loss, and maybe a few people who found the Burgos fight disturbing.

 

That's the truth. I hate most promoters too.

 

I only hate 4:

Valuev -- Protected carnival attraction
PBF -- Loudmouth claiming to be the GOAT, across any weight class, but hasn't taken a true challenge since 2002.
Chavez Jr. -- Over-protected fraud
Margarito -- cheat

don't really have any hated boxers, although Khan would definitely be close..... and Margarito the cheating ****

 

I don't hate them but I do not like the following fighters.

1.) Floyd Mayweather - after being a fan of his for many years I caught onto his act. No willingness to fight anyone good over 140. Fights against a faded De La Hoya at 154 (a SD no less) and Hatton at welter who we knew from the Collazo fight was no welterweight. Nobody has a more appropriate nickname cuz "money" is exactly what this guy is about. Guys like Cotto, Mosley, and Williams are out there and he's fighting Marquez??? Please!

2.) Antonio Margarito - never has a guy's stock plummeted so far in my eyes. If they can take wins away from college football teams then this cheater should give back every victory he ever had. Let him fight in some bullring in Mexico cuz he's persona non grata in the states. AND STILL UNDEFEATED...FROM CAGUAS, PUERTO RICO!!! MIGUEL COOOOTTTTOOO!!!

3.) David Haye - I give the guy credit for what he did at cruiser, which really wasn't much in retrospect. O'Neil Bell took the fight out of Mormeck way before Haye got to him and Maccarinelli was handed a title belt to go with his bad chin. Whatever, Haye still became the top dog at 200. I just don't like how he made his entrance into the heavyweight division by tracking down Wlad at a charity event at all places to call him out. He then talks for months only to pull out of the fight. Then what does he do, he criticizes Wlad's performance against the guy who fought only because he couldn't. Enough's enough. Step into the ring and stop delaying other the careers of others.

These 3 were the only ones I could come up with.

2)Bring back Sven Ottke so I can hate on him

3)Tarver...never shuts the **** up and never does anything in the ring. Yes, you beat a shot roy jones what, a decade ago? how bout you rematch balboa dickcheese

4)julio cesar chavez jr.-can't carry his father's jockstrap.

5)Luis Collazo-for whining too much. Seriously, good fighter, good skills but blames EVERYONE else for just coming short twice. Guess you got robbed against Mosley to?
