Valuev's not the cheat man. He's actually a fundamentally sound fighter. He's just slow as hell and it's the judges who give him the decisions. Either way, you like who you like and you dislike who you dislike so it's cool.

I wouldn't say hate-but an "axe to grind with" or not happy with

1) Haye-Prime example of one the things wrong in boxing-Here is a guy with a weak chin, who has had two fights since November of 07, whose had less 10 round of boxing as HW-yet manages to get a shot at a HW title by just using his mouth-not his fists but his mouth. He was never known as smack talker, but he was smart enough to know he could do it and get away with it. Of course he bitched out-but that's another story on its own.

2) James Tony-One of fav's growing up-but as he got older he got more senile and more delusional

3) Allan Green-Runs his mouth disapears (Ward)-runs his mouth disapears (Echols) and etc. His had one meaningful fight-in which he lost. When he runs his mouth he talks he is owed something-go out and fight somebody!

4) Carl Froch-The guy can't put together a sentence without mentioning Joe Calzaghe. Wasn't the biggest Calazghe fan-but Joe beats him every day, every month, every year and then some.

5) Vic-Even Dr. Phill can't help him with his narcisim.

 

This thread could actually spawn another one about fighters we used to like but now dislike. That's the case with Floyd as far as I'm concerned and I certainly didn't mind Haye when he was mowing down cruiserweights. Those were 2 of the 3 fighters I wrote about.

 

And for Mads Larsen,and for Byron Mitchell,and for Glen Johnson,...............
