Don't worry about it, you're doing great! I couldn't tell it wasn't your first language.

Sorry for my British bias ! Sometimes the atmosphere adds to the fight itself.

I'm sure l saw him on an undercard in London in the mid/late 80s. Always entertaining from memory. May have been against Gary Jacobs ?

Yeah, that's the one. I remember bits of that fight, was a good-un iirc. I liked his fights with Laing and Kostas Petrou.

You do fine. There are born English speakers here who don't speak it as well.

Hell yeah. I was at the Kostas Petrou fight. Don't know if I've mentioned it on here but Paddy Lynch bought the Lonsdale Belt that Kas won that day and then lost to Sylvester Mittee and presented it to Kas on the Birmingham City invitation show in February. Dry eyes in the house were few. Kas is still in good nick.
Rocky was in some great wars with Tony Brown and Chris Sanigar among others.

Perhaps oddly I often revisit Tony Sibson v Frankie Lucas. Absolute crossroader, Lucas's last chance and unfashionable Sibson may not have got another. This produced pure savagery from both boys. Add Harry Carpenters usual stirring commentary, what's not to love ?

I watched that about a week ago. It was Sibbos 20th birthday, so he would've had time to make a career if he had lost. I was a huge Sibson fan, saw him fight a few times. Never a dull fight, he had a massive fan base too.
